2010 Grizzlies schedule
Welcome to the 23rd
year of Bear Mountain Grizzly Football, we are excited to help our
communities of Arvin-Lamont to create great players on and off the
field. Last year proved to be a great season but this years promises
to be a blast!!! So buckle up, and lets get ready for the 2010
season!!!!!
Players are needed for all Levels
We are looking for assistant coaches for the
Freshmen, Sophomore
and JV Levels

Equipment checkout will be held Friday, July 23rd
from 5:30PM - 8:00PM
Makeup date for equipment handout will be July 31st
from 9:00AM - 11:00AM

Coach Pena Varsity Grizzlies QB coach and Head Varsity
Coach:
QB Evaluation for youth football
Any kid who wants to try out for QB should have
the chance.
Have each player take 5-10 snaps and throw to their
right and left to players running slant routes, hook
routes and deep routes.
Have them throw from a standstill, and on the move.
With very young kids, you may want to try using a
mini-football or a softball instead of a regulation
football.
Evaluate arm strength and accuracy with each player.
This
will be instrumental in helping finding you the right
person for the QB position.
